Felix Adler founded ECFS on the belief that ethics should not be sidelined to Sunday school. It should be central to our education.  

Today, our school’s ethical curriculum and passionate faculty are competing with technology platforms designed to capture our kids’ attention 24 hours a day — fracturing focus, eroding real-world social development, and crowding out reading, critical thinking, and academic depth.

The Technology + Community Committee (formerly the Tech Working Group) is an all-school committee that helps families and administrators navigate this landscape together. We’re not against technology — we use it every day. We want our children and our community to use it wisely.
